About Us

Established in 2009, Atlantic American Opportunities Fund makes investments in businesses and real estate projects operating within select regions of Florida.  With up to $50 million in capital, we seek to make long-term investments ($1 million – 5 million) in the form of senior debt, subordinate debt and equity.  Atlantic American Opportunities Fund offers creative financing solutions to business managers and developers aimed to support their strategic and financial objectives.

Our success is based on the experience of our highly talented investment managers, who have a long and successful track record of completing transactions and working with management teams and developers to create and realize value.  Collectively, our investment managers have over 75 combined years of experience in private equity, commercial banking, investment banking and managing businesses.

Atlantic American Opportunities Fund is an investment vehicle for the Florida Overseas Investment Center, a Regional Center authorized by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).  The Florida Overseas Investment Center assists foreigners and their immediate families in obtaining permanent US residency (green cards) through the USCIS’s EB5 investment visa program, while assisting our own economy through the creation of new, sustainable employment opportunities.  For additional information regarding the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services’ EB5 investment visa program, click here

As part of our underlying structure, our fund only makes investments in Florida-based businesses and real estate projects that are located in Targeted Employment Areas (TEAs) within the state.  TEAs are defined as rural areas or areas that have experienced high unemployment – 150.0% of the average national unemployment rate during comparable time period.

In addition, our investments will lean towards opportunities that create new, sustainable jobs.  This requirement typically dovetails with the objectives of many businesses and real estate development projects seeking capital for growth or expansion.
