In January of 2007, Atlantic American Capital Advisors, LLC (AACA) completed the sale of Pro Tech Monitoring Systems, Inc. (Pro Tech) to Dmatek, Inc. for a consideration of $12.5 million in cash.

Pro Tech is the world’s largest GPS Offender Tracking Technology Provider and developed the first satellite tracking system to provide real-time, 24-hour tracking of criminal offenders who are under community supervision. The Company is headquartered in Odessa, FL, and its systems are currently in use by over 150 agencies in 35 states, the UK and Canada. Pro Tech will complement Dmatek’s existing remote people monitoring technologies, which are used by private operators and government agencies in over 20 countries worldwide.
