David McIntyre joined Atlantic American in 2001 as a graduate intern and later was employed as a full-time Associate. During his time with Atlantic American, Mr. McIntyre has worked in every division of Atlantic American including real estate development, investment banking, merchant banking and private equity, assisting in all aspects of Atlantic American’s mergers and acquisitions activities, private placements, debt and equity placements, and capital raise activities. He has been instrumental in several of Atlantic American’s merchant banking transactions valued at over $325 million. He has extensive experience in the business services, death care, software, post-secondary education, information technology and real estate industries. Mr. McIntyre is currently focused on development of the firm’s private equity practice.
Prior to joining Atlantic American, Mr. McIntyre gained extensive project management experience while holding several positions for national construction firms and civil engineering in the Southeastern US.
Mr. McIntyre received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of South Florida, Graduate School of Business. Mr. McIntyre is a member of the University of South Florida’s Graduate School of Business Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi and is a member of the NASD.
