Douglas Anacreonte joined Atlantic American in April 2005 as Vice President to help establish the Institutional Placement Group, a division created to raise capital for company sponsored investment offerings as well as placing select third party offerings.
Mr. Anacreonte has over six years of institutional sales and marketing experience. Prior to joining Atlantic American, Mr. Anacreonte gained extensive experience as Assistant Vice President at Meridian Investments, Inc., an NASD Broker/Dealer focused primarily on raising equity for tax advantaged and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) qualified investment programs. While at Meridian Investments, Mr. Anacreonte was responsible for raising institutional equity for tax credit and CRA related offerings.
Mr. Anacreonte has extensive knowledge of various federal tax credit programs such as: Affordable Housing, Renewable Energy and New Markets, as well as Small Business Investment Companies (SBIC) and various other CRA-qualified investment programs.
Mr. Anacreonte earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. He is a member of the NASD.
