David Maruca joined Atlantic American Partners in April of 2005 as a Vice President. Mr. Maruca was brought on board to help establish the firm’s Institutional Placement Group, a division created to structure and market institutional private equity fund and individual project financing offerings. Mr. Maruca has extensive knowledge of the Real Estate, Energy, Renewable Energy, Community Reinvestment Act, and Tax Credit sectors.
Prior to joining Atlantic American Partners, Mr. Maruca gained extensive experience as a Vice President at Meridian Investments, Inc., a FINRA Broker/Dealer where he was responsible for placing institutional equity for tax advantaged investment programs in the Renewable Energy, Non-conventional Fuel, and Low Income Housing Tax Credit sectors.
Mr. Maruca earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance from Westfield State College. He is a member of the FINRA/SIPC and holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Mr. Maruca sits on the Community Advisory Board of the Neighborhood Lending Partners of West Florida, Inc., a consortia of banks, thrifts, local governments and the affordable housing community, whose mission is to address the affordable housing and community finance needs throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Maruca has also been elected to the board of directors of Shake-A-Leg, headquartered in Newport, RI. From its inception in 1982, this non-profit 501(c)(3) organization has achieved national recognition for designing complimentary rehabilitation programs for those with spinal cord injury and other neurological disorders. Shake-A-Leg, through the Wall Street Corporate Challenge Cup, a sailing regatta, has raised over $3,000,000 through the combined generous giving of America’s top investment, legal and corporate firms.
