Opportunities Fund III made a $4,500,000 investment in the development of the Aloft Tampa.
Operating under Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Aloft brand, the Aloft Tampa is an upscale, select service hotel located in downtown Tampa, Florida. The brand is most notable for its modern architecture design style, with unique technical aspects and an atmosphere that encourages socialization.
The hotel offers 130 guest rooms and features a café‐style food and beverage venue, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness room, a business center and 3,000 square feet of meeting space. Located along the Hillsborough River and the new Tampa Riverwalk, Aloft Tampa is within walking distance of the University of Tampa, Tampa Convention Center, University of South Florida’s new CAMLS (Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation) facility, Tampa Times Forum, Tampa Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa History Museum, Curtis Hixon Park, Florida Aquarium, the Port of Tampa, as well as the numerous office buildings of downtown Tampa.

Marriott Residence Inn Orlando Downtown
Operating under Marriott International’s Residence Inn brand, the Residence Inn Downtown Orlando is an extended stay hotel that offers 138 guest rooms, a ground floor lobby, indoor swimming pool, fitness room, approximately 4,000 square feet of commercial retail space and a parking garage.
The Project is located at the southwest corner of Orange Avenue and Colonial Drive and involved the demolition of an existing, vacant two-story office building and the development of a new eight-story building that houses the Project. The Project is an example of repurposing currently underutilized land for a positive, job-creating use that benefits the entire downtown Orlando market.
